Once upon a starry night
I came upon a lovely sight
I saw you there, in sweetness true
Love meshed in your eyes with a brownish hue
I felt your presence all over there
As you flew across the lair
Of life, love and hope
Swinging by a sturdy rope
But swing as you may
Like a pendulum in my heart, stay!
And I once again realized
You were just a dream I materialized
I looked to see where you went
I walked away with my neck bent
And turned my back to see
You being taken away from me
I woke from my dream in sweat
And tears that made my cheeks wet
But dreams may come true, they say
One day--I may--just meet you, someday..
